How it is made

A pointed sequence across the warp is combined with a reversing sequence of picks. The resulting repeat turns the diagonal lines into lozenges rather than an uninterrupted diagonal.

How to recognize it

Trace the diagonal ribs to see whether they meet around a repeating diamond.
